The Stars Come Out To Celebrate New Hall of Famers
On the sultry evening of Friday, February 16th the stars of polo gathered at the Museum of Polo and Hall of Fame to pay tribute to the latest inductees to the Hall of Fame. Honored for their epic parts of polo history were, Sunny Hale, Ruben Gracida, Jimmy Newman, Roy L. Barry and horses Ruifino and Lovely Sage.

NEW POLO STARS HONORED IN HALL OF FAME
On Friday, February 16th , 2018 Sunset “Sunny” Hale, Ruben Gracida, Jimmy Newman, Roy L. Barry and the horses Lovely Sage and Ruifino will be joining the elite group of individuals who have been honored in the Museum’s Hall of Fame since it began in 1990.

The Foundation Polo Challenge Trophy was created and sponsored by Tiffany & Co. to celebrate the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club’s Centennial in 2011.

Polo in Wellington bronze sculpture
Polo in Wellington, a single, mounted polo player was created in 1978 by George Gách.

1904 U.S. Open Championship Individual Trophy
This trophy is one of the individual awards presented to the Wanderers, the winners of the first U.S. Open Polo Championship played at Van Cortlandt Park, NY on September 20, 1904.
