Patrick Dix
Playing polo since the age of 13, Pat Dix went on to become the leading scorer of the winning Cornell 1963 National Intercollegiate Championship team and won many nationally recognized events. Dix earned a 5-goal rating, received the Hugo Dalmar Award for Sportsmanship and was inducted into the Cornell University Polo Hall of Fame. Along the way he volunteered for over 60 years leadership positions with the USPA as an Executive Vice-President, Pacific Northwest Governor, National Rules Committee Chairman, Governor-at-Large, and Chairman of the Pacific Northwest Circuit Handicap and Rules Committee. He was a leader in establishing a new Pacific Northwest Circuit which had previously been part of the Pacific Coast Circuit.
